Numed Center is located in Trinidad and Tobago, the southernmost islands of the Caribbean. Numed is the Caribbean’s prime medical facility noted for innovation in disruptive technology in Medicine. Numed currently provides a complete range of medical and dental services but specialises in providing cutting edge technology in the area of autologous adult stem technology (using bone marrow extract, adipose tissue, umbilical cord blood or allogeneic stem cells), immunotherapy via dendritic cell vaccines, plasmapheresis, hyperbaric oxygen treatment of hard-to-heal ulcers. Numed began operations in 2012 and since then has treated over one hundred patients for many different auto immune conditions using autologous stem cell treatments and different types of cancer using immunotherapy via dendritic cells. Numed has pioneered the implementation of stem cell technology in the Caribbean since 2012 and is the first clinic in the area to provide: -Direct insertion of stem cells into the renal artery of chronic kidney failure patients resulting in drastic improvement in kidney function of dialysis dependent patients. -Direct insertion of stem cells into the pancreatic artery of diabetic patients resulting in improvement of diabetic condition in - insulin dependent chronic diabetic patients. -Insertion of stem cells into the joints of arthritic patients resulting in relief of painful symptoms of arthritic conditions without any -need for pain medication. -Treatment of diabetic ulcers of the lower extremities with hyperbaric oxygen resulting in phenomenal improvements after a series of treatments. -Dendritic cell vaccination of solid tumor cancer patients resulting in remission from symptoms of original cancer.
