NUS Department of History

One of the oldest departments in the National University of Singapore, NUS History prides itself on its track record of teaching and research excellence, with its active and dedicated faculty. Administrators of the NUS Singapore History Prize and editors for the Journal of Southeast Asian Studies. NUS History offers a varied selection of graduate and undergraduate modules, from European, American, and military history, to the history of art, business, religion, science and technology. Many successful graduates have gone on to make their mark in the world, including ones who have proceeded to pursue PhDs with full scholarships at other renowned universities
