Nutrifarms, part of Sovena Group, manages over 40 farms that span over more than 7.000 hectares, and 2 olive oil mills in Portugal and Morocco. Lagar do Marmelo in Ferreira do Alentejo is an iconic building and symbol of the modernization of the agricultural sector in Alentejo. For the past 13 years Nutrifarms has perfectioned the way it sets and manages each farm. Each plantation is designed and established considering the specific characteristics of the soils, climate, orography, and landscape. The farms and the olive oil mills are managed aiming at great produce quality with enormous respect for natural resources and good integration with the surrounding territories and people. Our team is young, highly skilled and motivated by the constant challenge to do better. Most of them live close to the farms they manage and are fully part of local communities.
