About NV Access

Empowering lives through non-visual access to technology. NV Access is a non-profit organisation based in Australia. We are dedicated to the ideal that blind and vision impaired people should be able to use any type of technology for the same cost as their sighted peers. Our primary aim is to support projects which provide free and open source computer software solutions that enable this accessibility. We develop and support NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access), an award-winning, free, open source screen reader for Microsoft Windows. We also provide a range of training, support and accessibility consulting services related to NVDA and software accessibility in general.
