The Centre for Text Technology (CTexT®) is a research and development centre at the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University. CTexT®develops various corpora for research in human language technology and develops language technology products for the South African languages.
By hosting web services, the development of end-user facing applications are facilitated so that software developers (e.g. private enterprises or the South African State Information Technology Agency) and researchers can get direct access to implemented versions of such technologies via simple web queries.
