Ohio Alliance of Direct Support Professionals

OADSP is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization whose MISSION is to Educate, Elevate, and Empower Direct Support Professionals and Frontline Supervisors through professional development opportunities, recognition, and advocacy efforts. Our VISION is a highly valued and skilled human service workforce encouraging and supporting people with disabilities to lead self-directed lives. OADSP values engagement, partnership, collaboration, innovation, and professional development; therefore we: Provide access to high-quality educational programs and life-long learning opportunities Deliver immersive professional experiences Promote career pathways and strive for the continual professional enhancement of the image and status of the I/DD workforce Remain intentional with our partnerships and collaborations Respond actively to the needs of the profession No one gets there alone, and OADSP is pleased and proud to maintain partnerships with various stakeholders in the I/DD industry – some of them dating back to our establishment – from state agencies to national organizations.
