About Oasis Foundation

We are a small Yorkshire-based charity with a global reach. Our focus is on promoting positive social change and supporting environmental justice. We do this by developing the people and organisations bringing change to the world. Our approach is to encourage whole person learning and development. We believe that when people are enabled to be their authentic self they have greater impact, are happier and healthier and are more effective in their relationships with others. Our preference is to develop long-term working partnerships with grass-roots organisations. Over recent years we have worked with award winning non-profits like Manchester-based Reclaim, The Junction in Edinburgh and Studio House in Nottingham. We have also provided on-going support to groups of young people working on sustainability and global change - this work has been undertaken in partnership with the Globally responsible Leadership Initiative and the student organisation oikos.
