Obstkäppchen gUG

We are a social start-up founded in 2017 with the mission of supporting senior citizens affected by old age poverty with a healthy and balanced diet, promoting intergenerational dialogue and a sense of responsibility as well as counteracting old age loneliness. This is done by our volunteers called "Obstkäppchen" delivering bags filled with fruit, vegetables and other healthy foods free of charge and anonymously to the door of the affected persons on certain dates during the month. During these visits, our volunteers establish social contacts with the senior citizens and thus counteract the loneliness of the elderly.
