Ocean Tech Hub

The Ocean Tech Hub is a collaborative initiative that brings together government agencies, academic institutions, nonprofits, early- and mid-stage commercial ventures, and established companies to accelerate the commercialization of ocean and undersea technologies. As the nation’s only federally designated Tech Hub focused on advancing ocean and undersea technologies, the Ocean Tech Hub is driving growth in key industries, including defense, energy production, transportation, shipping, and aquaculture. Utilizing an integrated hub-and-spoke model, the Ocean Tech Hub combines Southeastern New England’s rich legacy of advanced manufacturing with its entrepreneurial expertise and leadership in robotics and advanced materials. This initiative aims to foster economic opportunities while ensuring the health, safety, and security of the nation through the advancement and commercialization of ocean technologies.
