OEKO-TEX® consists of independent textile and leather testing institutes in Europe and Japan, with offices in more than 70 countries. We work together to develop test methods and define limit values that are the basis of our trusted standards: OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON and OEKO-TEX® LEATHER STANDARD. As well as the production site certifications according to OEKO-TEX® STeP (Sustainable Textile & Leather Production), OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT for the verification of chemicals and auxiliaries and the management certification OEKO-TEX® RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS. Our independent institutes around the world conduct both laboratory tests and company audits following our global guidelines.
