While regular chilli sauce brands compete for the hottest sauce (that will be used once, then gather dust), we are democratising chilli sauce and bringing it to the people for everyday use. We can bring the heat (go on, try the Jawbreaker), but also bring exceptional flavour, making chilli sauce accessible to a wider market.
To create our unique flavours, we invented our own methods of production, including developing our innovative chilli-smoking method (a trade secret) to deliver a unique and distinctive Old Bones taste signature, lovingly crafted by the Chilli Wizard, Joshua Ngaire, who has over 14 years of fine dining experience.
We launched the company with our flagship, the Smoked Garlic Chilli Sauce, quickly followed by the ‘Extra Hot’. From there our range has grown to fifteen products. In 2021, we launched Old Bones in Texas, USA.
Our values are to produce delicious and innovative chilli-based products which are different from the competition, uncompromising attention to quality and detail and great customer service.
Today, we proudly carry on Josh's legacy through his creations, bringing big, bold flavour to the table worldwide.
Our range has won a number of local and international awards, including 1st place at the 2023 Sydney Chilli Festival for our flagship Smoked Garlic Chilli Sauce, 2nd Place for our Smoked Garlic Chilli Beef Jerky at the 2022 Mr Chilli Awards and multiple placings for our sauces at the 2023 Scovie Awards (USA), 2023 International Flavor Awards and the 2023 New York City Hot Sauce Expo.
