Optogan Group is one of technology leaders developing and producing High Brightness Light Emitting Diodes (HB LEDs) for global applications including Solid State Lighting. Optogan’s geography includes R&D operation in Helsinki, Finland and Dortmund, Germany and 2 production facilities: Landshut, Germany and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Today Optogan is ramping up high-volume manufacturing fab in St.Petersburg, Russia after acquiring a facility from Elcoteq SE in mid 2010. The operation will be launched in several phases starting end of 2010.
Since 2009 Optogan is a group of vertically integrated companies acting on all levels of LED luminaire production. Optogan develops and produces chips, high brightness LEDs, LED lamps and luminaries office, residential, industrial and outdoor lighting applications.
