Having had taken its first step in the vegetable oil production industry in 1968 with a daily production capacity of 6 ton, today Orucoglu Oil has become the leading integrated organization of its sector with 1000 ton/day oil seed processing, 300 ton refinery oil production and 600 ton/day seed meal production capacities. Built on a 72 thousand square meter field, Orucoglu Oil facility has a confined space of 30 thousand square meters. With its goal of procuring the raw materials it needs from domestic sources, Orucoglu Oil establishes direct contact with the farmers in the Southern and Central Anatolian and Black Sea Regions of Turkey, supports their production processes and when necessary guarantees to purchase their entire yield. As it is evident from this approach, Orucoglu brand also strives to fulfil its duty concerning the development of national agriculture. Having become even stronger after its procurement in 2016 by Hakan Agro, a Turkish company based in Dubai, Orucoglu blends its more than 50 years of experience with innovative solutions in order to carry vegetable oil production industry from tradition to the future. By means of all these breakthroughs and meticulous approaches it adopts, and in consequence of its increasing capacity, turnover, domestic and foreign sales and employment opportunities it creates in 2019 the company succeeded in securing its place among the top 700 ISO industrial organizations in Turkey. Recently Orucoglu Oil has broken grounds in several areas including production, packaging, quality, R&D and innovation. Having produced the first Omega 3-containing Sunflower Seed Oil in Turkey, the company also won the World Star Packaging Award with the packaging of this innovative product.
