NL: Oscare vindt dat elk slachtoffer van brandwonden, zonder onderscheid, recht heeft op kwaliteitsvolle nazorg in een empathische omgeving. Oscare doet er alles aan om de revalidatie van brandwonden en littekens gunstig te beïnvloeden en kiest ervoor om dit aan te bieden buiten een ziekenhuiscontext. Verder vindt Oscare ook dat de samenleving zich preventief dient op te stellen tegenover de gevaren van brand en brandwonden, teneinde het aantal slachtoffers zoveel mogelijk te beperken. EN: Oscare runs an outpatient medical centre where aftercare is provided by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, orthopaedic technicians and a psychotherapist for patients with burns and scars. Patients can come to the centre every day for follow-up and treatment of their burns and scars.
