Osteology MDPI

Osteology (ISSN 2673-4036) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal devoted to the basic and clinical research of bone science. Specifically, the journal is interested in original research on bone-related diseases and their molecular mechanisms, biological and physiological research on bone, interactions of bone with other organ systems, bone biomaterials, as well as methodological advances in osteology. Osteology publishes a variety article types including research papers, reviews, editorials, communications, etc. There is no restriction on the length of papers, and we encourage scientists to publish their results in as much detail as possible. Scope Topics of interest with a view towards osteology include (but are not limited to) the following: > Bone-related diseases, including arthritis, fractures, infections, osteoporosis, tumors, etc. > Molecular mechanisms research on bone and bone-related diseases > Interactions of bone with other organ systems, including cartilage, muscle, neural, etc. > Biological and physiological research on bone, cartilage, joints, and spine > Clinical studies > Methodological advances in osteology > Bone biomaterials > Interactions of bone with prosthesis > Bone mechanics
