Lignin represents 20-40% of all plants and contains over 60% biogenic carbon, with a high aromaticity. Lignin is potentially available in massive quantities as an industrial residue and possesses a high energy content, but it is currently largely combusted or used in applications with a very low added value. The tremendous potential of this abundant resource is being wasted as demands and opportunities fail to meet. This is where we come in.
LigniCore is an environmental technology provider and a developer of lignin-based renewable materials.
