After the October 7th events, hundreds of SMBs in the Gaza envelope, northern Israel, and businesses of reservists across the country were forced to halt operations due to the war.
"Otef La'esek" is a non-profit initiative founded by Hamal Ezrachi, The Jewish Agency, Klirmark Capital & IVN, to help these businesses survive and provide them with "oxygen" through four main channels:
- Financial Grants- Enable small businesses to recover and continue operations
- Business Mentoring voluntarily provided by senior business professionals - Assess the business's financial status, map out potential scenarios for business survival, identify opportunities, develop work plans, provide management, marketing, and digitalization support
- Professional Workshops - Led by leading experts in various fields
