The Center for Black Progress, Inc (CBP) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering Afro-descendant communities worldwide, with a primary focus on the United States. We work systematically to dismantle and remedy the most pressing issues that hamper Black life.
Pan-Africanism is an ideology and movement that aims to unify and uplift People of African Descent, encouraging global solidarity grounded in shared history and interests. It is based on the belief that coordination and cooperation are vital to economic, social, and political progress.
These ideals are at the heart of CBP, and every effort here is aimed at unifying and uplifting the African Diaspora.
We maintain a programmatic focus around "The 12 Obstacles to Black Progress," a problem paradigm that allows us to offer methodical analysis, definition, and solutions to each issue.
