Out from the Mist is a photography, short film (one minute) and music competition open to people with mental illness, or their close friends and family.
The foundation of this competition is to provide individuals facing challenges with their mental wellbeing an opportunity to share their story. When the written word can’t explain, an image can be a conduit for information.
This competition aims to capture the diversity of people’s stories, from the experiences of pain and suffering, through to the elation of conquering obstacles.
