P21 was established in 2001 as a spin-off from Vodafone, is privately held and is headquartered in Munich, Germany. P21 develops innovative energy management solutions primarily for the mobile telecommunications industry. P21’s solutions help operators lower their Operating Expenses (“OPEX”) by reducing diesel consumption and generator maintenance, as well as improve visibility of their networks to allow effective and efficient remote-diagnostics and resource and parts management. Moreover, P21 also has state-of-the-art fuel cell technology that can be used as reliable backup power, and clean power solutions that incorporate solar, wind and batteries to allow telecommunication operators to operate their base stations off grid with renewable power.
