Prototype to Production (P2P) Manufacturing was founded in 2018 in response to a market need for quick turnaround capabilities and front-end engineering help for prototype development and small volume production. Typically used in research and development initiatives and new concept feasibility trials, our prototypes are recognized for their precision and buildability.
We understand how breaking into an established high-volume production run to make two to ten prototype parts can hammer a manufacturer’s schedule and cause potentially huge production losses. We designed P2P Manufacturing to be a manufacturer’s “pain reliever.” We are lean and agile, which allows us to move quickly without dragging unnecessary resources into production. That translates into fewer headaches for our customers.
We recognize that few companies have the resources needed to realize every new project internally. We make it possible for our customers to pursue growth-oriented projects while maintaining their current business volumes. Furthermore, given the potential proliferation of low-volume part numbers, few companies want to take on producing one piece each for 250 part numbers, but they often need that capability. It’s something we’re equipped to accomplish and can do very well. We can integrate with your planning, production, quality, and logistics organizations to ensure the new part numbers or prototype models conform to your standards, virtually providing turnkey service as you ramp up to high production.
