Kari Gardner, PHR
Kari began developing and delivering training while stationed in Germany, in the United States Air Force, where she discovered she enjoyed helping people to learn, develop, and reach their career goals.
After obtaining a Master of Science in Education she went on to work in the fields of Training and Development, Human Resources, and Employee Development. Kari has designed and implemented programs for various companies, including Front Line Leadership, Leadership Development, Performance Appraisal, New-Hire Orientation, Teambuilding, Communication and Feedback, and Diversity. She was sometimes called upon to build entire departments for organizations.
Kari has also received certification training from The Ken Blanchard Companies in Situational Leadership II, from DecisionWise in leadership coaching and feedback, and from Dana University in Lean Principles and the Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award process.
Thus far in her career, Kari has enjoyed working with employees and leaders in many diverse environments ranging from distribution and manufacturing, to education, and the medical and dental professions.
Kari is an active member of her community. She has served on the United Way of Salt Lake - Young Leaders steering council as a founding member, volunteered at the Sundance Film Festival 2008, worked with People Helping People, an organization helping single mothers to find jobs, and is currently serving as a SHRM mentor.
