We made a freaking pigeon look cute just so that young first-time voters download an app to figure out which candidate lists match their priorities at the 2024 EU Elections and the 2025 German Elections. Our app became the #1 political app in the App Store and Google Play, mobilizing over 180.000 first-time voters. Now, our focus is on research and learning. Palumba EU is building the first Pan-european Voting Advice Application (an app designed to give voters an orientation for who to vote for based on how much they agree with their programs) designed specifically by and for the youth. Such applications have proven to significantly reduce abstention in national elections, Palumba EU aims at scaling this opportunity at the European level at a decisive moment for democracy, security, togetherness, and our response to the ecological crisis, all for which empowering the young generation is crucial.
