Pamoja Trust

Pamoja Trust is a Kenyan non - profit making organization that has been working for nearly 20 years with the urban poor, to create the space and amplify their voice to ensure effective urban citizenship. The organization’s core mandate is anchored on promoting pragmatic approaches and precedence setting models that can enhance the realization of socio-economic rights in Kenya and present solutions to urban related challenge within the sectors of land, housing and access to basic services. Pamoja Trust provides social, technical and legal expertise at the local community, national and international levels in an aim to ensure that urban growth and urbanism adhere to social justice principles and the national and international human rights standards. Key to Pamoja Trust work is strengthening people’s organization formations and consolidation of partnerships to re-shape public discourse and influence policy and frameworks formulation and implementation.
