Pamplin Leadership Development Team

Pamplin Leadership Development Team (PLDT) is comprised of 24 student leaders and our faculty adviser Professor Ron Poff. The team is organized into five committees (Education, Corporate Relations, Public Relations, Materials, and Hospitality). PLDT works year-round to develop and coordinate the annual Pamplin Student Leadership Conference at the Inn. We aim to bring together driven student leaders and industry leaders for an interactive, inspiring, and educational conference. Our team is dedicated to leadership education and development within our campus, communities, and team, which is why we seek to grow our leadership, interpersonal and cross-functional skills on this team. In addition to the Pamplin Student Leadership Conference, PLDT holds workshops open to all students that delve into career related topics and reaches out to local high schools with workshops about leadership, resume-development, and attending college.
