Paraclete Solutions is a new business startup focused on developing integrated solutions for the plastics production environment. The three product focus areas are sampling, testing, and improvement. The big idea is providing complete integrated solutions, not individual components.
In the sampling space, we envision offering a fully integrated smart sampling system that includes a process sampler, a smart sample collector, and a connected sample distributer. The value proposition is an intelligent sampling system which also manages the chain of custody from process to lab resulting in representative samples, reduced manual labor, improved sample history tracking, and automated lab information management system sample logging.
In the testing space, we envision offering a fully integrated package for quantitative component analysis by Infrared Spectroscopy that includes uniform sample preparation using a dedicated mold, a 100X improvement in sample volume scanning, and fully validated chemometric model for quantitative analysis and reporting. The combined hardware/software system will enable customers to immediately generated quantitative results without the time consuming and costly model development process typically required to employ this highly efficient analytical technology. The value proposition is quick access to quantitative models which are validated, evergreen, and reliable.
In the improvement space, we will be offering an in-situ system employing high speed optical and laser scanning technologies to identify and remove product defects directly from the plastic pellet process stream directly improving product quality. The envisioned system throughput will be scalable from a few thousand pounds per hour to more than 100,000 lbs/hr. Scalability will provide the flexibility to meeting the throughput needs of the full spectrum of customers.
