Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE)

Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) is a dedicated team within Cancer Council WA’s Supportive Care Division, focused on delivering high-quality palliative care education across Western Australia. Funded independently by both state and federal branches of the Department of Health, PaSCE provides tailored education to healthcare professionals and palliative care volunteers, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver compassionate and effective care. Our education is delivered through: - Professional Development Education - Volunteer Education - Residential Aged Care Education in Palliative Care (RACEPC) - Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA) - Palliative Care Scholarships PaSCE collectively creates a robust framework for advancing palliative care expertise, supporting the delivery of person-centered care across diverse healthcare settings.
