A major factor in this footprint is the supply chain for sports-related gear, which is characterized by extensive resource extraction, production emissions, and waste generation. Notably, industry leaders like Nike and Adidas have set ambitious goals for climate neutrality, targeting 2050, but the pace of progress is slow. This delay in corporate action has a disproportionate impact on vulnerable populations, particularly children in underserved communities who lack access to quality sports gear.
For sports clubs and retailers, we provide savings and ease to the laborious process of offloading their surplus gear. For youth and families in underserved communities-- we provide high-quality products for free. Finally, we have a re-commerce store where the items can be sold for a fraction of the retail price with all proceeds going back to further our mission. All the while, this circular economy prolongs the resource of plastic and maximizes the life cycle of each item.
