Pattern’s patent-protected immunotherapeutic, PPI-100, mobilizes innate immunity to address the immune failure underpinning cancers. PPI-100 is a recently patented second generation of an earlier product that received regulatory approval and has proven safe & efficacious for several infectious disease indications in patients. PPI-100 is readily manufacturable and can be used as a monotherapy or in combination therapy. PPI-100's Mechanism of Action entails activating dendritic cells and macrophages, thereby increasing antigen-presenting activities directed at tumor antigens and resulting in anti-cancer cytotoxic T-cells and long-term T-cell memory. Based on extensive in vivo nonclinical and supporting clinical data, Pattern's clinical development activities are focused on a large, white space opportunity to address the overall >40% relapse rate in cancer patients 5 years following surgery. Its key upcoming milestones are the completion of the GMP manufacturing of its Phase 1 clinical material and the filing of an IND Application with the FDA, targeted for Q3 2024, which will result in a Phase 1-ready asset.
