Payac Services CLG (“Payac”) is a commercial shared services company established by Credit Unions to provide assistance and support to Credit Unions seeking regulatory approval to provide current accounts and ancillary payment services to their members.
Payac Services Company is Limited by Guarantee and was registered on the 29th February 2016.
Payac was originally formed from a working group of 6 Credit Unions who became its founding members. Payac is owned and managed directly by Credit Unions and membership is open to all Credit Unions.
There are currently 35 Payac Credit Unions with 1.1m members, 140+ branches and €6bn+ in assets collaborating to deliver a full current account service including overdrafts and debit cards to their members.
