The Payment Innovation Hub is born thanks to the union of CaixaBank, Global Payments Inc., Samsung, VISA and Arval with the purpose of jointly promoting R&D&I projects that bring the best and most innovative experiences in payment solutions to society.
The aim is to propose common responses to the challenges and opportunities that the world of payment solutions will offer in the coming years, thanks to technological advances, regulatory changes, the presence of new players and, above all, changes in the expectations and needs of users.
The Payment Innovation Hub research lines will range from the use of biometric technologies, including Internet of Things solutions, to the exploration of revolutionary technologies such as Blockchain or Machine Learning.
It is focused on improving the customer experience, security and new business opportunities in the world of payments. To this end, the Payment Innovation Hub will gather the experience and knowledge of each of companies involved in this project, all of them a reference in innovation within their own sectors.
