About Peace Through Play

Peace through Play is an 140 member student-run organization founded and based at Northeastern University. We promote a culture of peace through students empowering students. Our volunteers partner with six local schools in the Roxbury and Dorchester communities to support the Kindergarten through 8th grade children with recess and after-school programming. The games and crafts we bring to the schools serve as teaching methods for such vital themes as community, self-awareness and respect.
