About Penta Career Center

As a regional leader in career-technical education for both high school and adult learners, Penta Career Center is a place where students can “Dream, Explore and Shine” by discovering their passion. Since 1965, we have shaped the careers of more than 30,000 professionals. We are a well-known, highly-respected institution offering many specialized programs where high school and adult learners gain the career technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to be successful in high-demand careers. Students learn what is expected in the world of work and build an impressive resume through real-world, hands-on experience in the local workforce. *High School Programming* With 27 career tech programs, we prepare students for a wide array of post-secondary and career options. Students leave Penta with the skills and industry credentials they need to head straight into good paying jobs. FREE College Credit Plus (CCP) options through Owens Community College also provide an affordable college pathway. *Adult Education* Our mission is to provide students with life-long learning directed toward their economic growth and personal enrichment in a rapidly changing world. We are fully accredited by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Council on Occupational Education and hold additional accreditations and affiliations through individual programs. Penta’s approved Center for Training Excellence offers hands-on training programs to prepare adults for in-demand jobs through full- and part-time training programs that can be completed in 9 months or less. Students can earn industry-recognized certificates in many of these programs. Penta’s Aspire-GED Career Pathways Readiness program is a no-cost, student-centered learning opportunity for adults looking to improve basic math and English skills in order to obtain their high school equivalency or prepare for additional workforce training.
