Based in the heart of Loughborough, the Peter Le Marchant Trust is a dedicated charity providing canal boat trips on the picturesque waterways of Leicestershire. For over 45 years, we have been offering day trips and holidays to children and adults living with physical disabilities, social issues and mental health conditions.
We believe in the therapeutic benefits of time spent on the water, and we witness the positive impact of our ‘blue health’ trips on both our passengers and volunteers daily. Our specially designed boats are equipped to offer a unique and accessible experience for everyone.
Our mission is to make day trips and holidays accessible to all, promoting inclusivity and well-being through our services. The Peter Le Marchant Trust was established in the 1970s by Clare Le Marchant Connell, and today, we proudly operate three boats dedicated to holidays and day trips.
