The British University in Egypt - Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the British University in Egypt accepted its first cohort in the AY 2012/2013. The Faculty is accredited by The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”. It seeks to be an outstanding model for pharmacy education locally, regionally and internationally. The overall mission of the Faculty is to provide higher education following the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) to qualify competent and competitive 7-star pharmacists with skills in caregiving, communication, decision making, research, teaching, life-long learning and leadership. The Faculty of Pharmacy offers two unique programmes – Pharm D & Pharm D Clinical - which equip graduates with the diverse pharmaceutical skills needed for various career paths. Students of the Faculty study in an environment that encourages diversity, effective learning, innovation and social activity. The staff are not just academic experts in the fields but often have ‘real life’ practical experience, which they bring to their subjects, as well as close contacts with the ‘world of work’. At the campus there is a wide variety of student activities to join “Student Centered University” which provide a balance in University life of students and encourage them to realize their full potential. The social and entertainment student activities include; opened and closed playgrounds, swimming pool, theatre, a powerful student union, energetic clubs & societies and all year long events.
