Phi Beta Psi Sorority is a national women’s philanthropic organization which was founded in Columbus, OH, in 1904. It is not affiliated with a college or university, and a college degree is not required to join.
The purpose of Phi Beta Psi is to participate in charitable work, to promote fraternal relationship among its members, and to establish and assist other chapters of the sorority.
Today, grants are presented to six doctors who conduct cancer research. One hundred percent of all memorials and donations are made to the National Project, Cancer Research. Since 1941, over $11,000,000 in grant funding has been given to outstanding clinical researchers.
