The Pipeline Energy Group (PEG) conference is an annual meeting of Energy Management professionals from pipeline companies who operate primarily in North America. The PEG conference provides an opportunity for pipeline Energy Management professionals to share best practices and Energy Management concepts, and to stay current on technology, practices and trends in the energy industry. Attendees at the PEG conference usually consist of members, vendors and presenters. Members are representatives from operating pipeline companies; vendors are representatives from companies that serve the pipeline industry; presenters generally come from the pool of members and vendors. All attendees at PEG conferences are encouraged to understand and to adhere to their own company’s antitrust policies at all times for the duration of the conference. Since there is no formal organization to the PEG, there are no dues collected or fees charged to attend the conferences. Attendees are only responsible for their travel and incidental costs associated with attending PEG. The PEG conferences are hosted and planned annually by a member company on a rotating basis. The voluntary financial support of the PEG vendors allow attendees to participate in functions such as a welcome reception, a social hour, offsite activities and a group dinner.
