Plan C Pills

Plan C is a national abortion pill access campaign: working to share comprehensive information on pills by mail in all states, and normalize safe self-directed options for abortion care. We provide information on abortion pills, including where they’re found online and how they’re used for a safe home abortion. We do this to disentangle the method from politics and put it back where it belongs: in the hands of the people who want to use it. Our small but mighty team of veteran public health advocates, social justice activists and digital strategists incubates new initiatives that disrupt old barriers to access. We partner at the intersection of research, technology, grassroots advocacy and health to usher in a new era of access for this safe, effective method for anyone who seeks it. Working against a well-resourced opposition and an under-informed public, we are proud of our impact. In 2022, Plan C was in MIT's Technology Review and won the Anthem/Webby Gold Award for best nonprofit website. In 2023, Plan C’s co-founders were part of FastCo’s Most Creative People in Business list. Our campaign and the work of activists and providers who began to mail abortion pills during the pandemic were also subjects of documentary PLAN C.
