Co-FounderJourney Jan 2016 - Jul 2018Los Angeles, Ca, UsJourney (wejourney.co) is an impact travel collective. Journey offers 6-day impact-driven group travel experiences, dynamic enough to serve both travelers and trip leaders demanding a new kind of travel: shared experiences that are unique, immersive, and purpose-driven.In 2016, inspired by the power of in-person experiences, I cofounded Journey (wejourney.co), a public benefit corporation creating conscious travel designed to transform both the communities they visit and the travelers they engage. In two years, my team led 600 Journeyers on trips to build 150 homes, refurbish schools, work with refugees, and have mindblowing experiences that would forever change the way they viewed the world and people they thought of as "other." As a triple-bottom-line business with a very substantial 3rd (impact) bottom line, the business was not sustainable and Journey ended in summer 2018. -
