PLAVIO Uganda is a non for profit NGO which works with the communities to enhance self-sustainability, health, education, livelihoods and social well being with the aims of having a transformed and economically empowered community that understands; resiliency, excellence and dedication in team work towards restoration of hopeful living and engagements this is being achieved with focus on vocational skills, providing Guidance and Counseling on HIV/AIDS and Sexual Gender Based Violence, community education on health related issues, promotion of girl child education, supporting the elderly mothers with psycho social problems , creating community support centers for the youth, orphans and teenage mothers , financial support towards entrepreneurial development of the needy , socio- economic empowerment of community groups, water and sanitation hygiene and menstrual hygiene management for both adolescent and menstruating mothers in the rural communities and refugee settlements
