PLENITUDE is an EU-funded project building the first-of-its-kind, minimal-waste value chain for mycoprotein, a type of protein that comes from fungi.
This is a 5-year partnership that aims to increase the availability of sustainable, safe food-grade protein by building and operating a large-scale, first-of-its-kind bio-based value chain producing safe food-grade protein sourced from sustainable sources such as primary grains (wheat), using an integrated biorefinery setup.
The focus of this project is finding, developing, and marketing mycoprotein in:
