Founded in 2019 by two veteran transgender and larger Gender & Sexual Minority (GSM) or LGBTQ+ rights activists, community mobilizers, and public policy researchers - Avinaba & Sudeb Suvana, under the Companies Act, PLEQSUS INDIA FOUNDATION works with a vision of building an inclusive world where transgender and GSM community individuals can earn sustainable livelihoods, pursue their aspirations, freely participate in various economic, social, cultural activities, and exercise their right to life with dignity without being discriminated on the basis of their SOGIESC. We envision an India where no transgender, gender-diverse, and GSM person is compelled to beg on the streets or to take up unsafe modes of livelihoods to meet their basic needs and we want to achieve it in our lifetime!
