PMIC Master: Public Management in International Cooperation, Hochschule für öffentl. Verwaltung Kehl

The Master’s Programme Public Management in International Cooperation – Designing African-European and Intra-African Relations (PMIC) is all about improving the capabilities of local, regional, and international mainly public actors working in African-European or Intra-African relations to cooperate internationally. The career-integrated PMIC Master’s programme has been developed in close cooperation with partner universities in Germany, Ethiopia, Senegal, and South Africa, namely the University of Applied Administrative Sciences Kehl, the Ethiopian Civil Service University in Addis Ababa, the Centre Africain d’Études Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) and the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar, and Stellenbosch University nearby Cape Town. The programme is run by the University of Kehl, Germany, in close cooperation with its partners. The two-year study programme taught in English and partly in French simulates work in an IC project. Students from Western, Eastern and Southern Africa as well as from Europe will come together in four 12-day attendance phases at different places in Europe and Africa. In the distance phases in between, they will continue to work in small internationally mixed groups on tasks given to them in the attendance phases. The Master’s study programme has been accredited by the German national accreditation council. The Master’s degree given by the University of Kehl, Germany, will thus automatically be recognised throughout the European Union and in many other countries of the world. The study programme always starts with the winter semester of each year in September. The application period is between January and March. In 2023, the application periode end on the 11th April!
