Through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, art therapy and court advocacy, POETIC equips youth who have experienced sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation to find their voices, reclaim their narratives and persist forward.
By addressing the systems that perpetuate victimization, POETIC is igniting a movement to reject the notion that youth can be bought and sold. At POETIC, youth are not defined by their circumstances and experiences. Instead, they are empowered to become the authors of their lives.
The POETIC Trauma Therapy Center and Creative Arts Studio serves the Dallas community at no cost to youth and families.
