Pol Auguste Couronne, founder of the house Pol Couronne in 1887, in Hautvilliers, in the earth of Champagne. Almost two centuries after the finding of Dom Pérignon in this village nicknamed « La Perle du Champagne », Pol Couronne developed his wine trading activity with passion and authenticity. His work has been recognized in 1921 when he received the award of Croix de Chevalier du Mérite agricole. The know-how he bequeathed us is still used to improve the complexity and the identity of champagne Pol Couronne. Today, the legacy of the house Pol Couronne is in the hands of Jean Baptiste Prevost.
