PolyMara, Inc. is a research and intellectual property (“IP”) organization. We develop novel and patentable biopolymer formulations from natural materials, which are fully biodegradable and compostable, to be used as direct replacements for Forever Plastics in multiple industries and applications.
PolyMara is developing a full range of intellectual property including knowledge and understanding of the interaction between formulation, bioplastic properties and chemical structure. We utilize proven techniques from the pharmaceutical industry, such as combinatorial and computational chemistry, to rapidly create a large quantity of prototypes, and test them against the properties required for commercial use. This enables us to fine-tune our formulations to meet the desired performance characteristics.
