PontesNL is an independent national program founded by Luuk Evers of Pontes Medical (formerly UMC Utrecht) and Joep Welschen of the MedtechPartners foundation. Luuk developed the Pontes method with his team and over the past 16 years they managed to bring more than 10 successful innovative products onto the market from scratch (starting with a researcher or healthcare professional with an initial idea). Within PontesNL, the Pontes method is combined with the 16 years of experience of the MedtechPartners foundation to accelerate the innovation process for Dutch medtech and digital health innovations.
