The Prokriti o Paani (PoP) Water Towers project introduced an innovative solution which is a life-changer for the remote Indigenous communities living in Chittagong hill tracts of Bangladesh. It was a solution born out of necessity and ingenuity, uniquely addressing the pressing climate challenge of water scarcity in a way that resonated with the local environment and culture. The PoP Water Tower is an innovation to harvest fresh water from clouds, humidity, and rain using locally available materials and by engaging local people.
Based on the outcomes of our R&D phase we are piloting our water towers and producing 10,000 L of water per week (Sep 2023)
