P.O.W.E.R. Atlanta Inc. (Pathways of Wealth and Economic Resources) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering low-income individuals and underserved communities in Atlanta’s historic West End. Our mission is to provide holistic services that promote financial literacy, job readiness, sexual health education, and essential community support. We are committed to reducing poverty and fostering economic independence through targeted, accessible programs. Our key initiatives include: - POWER FORCE: Job readiness and financial literacy training to empower individuals with the tools to secure sustainable employment and financial stability. - Protect Our Power (POP): Comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention services, including testing and health resource access. - POWER Pantry & Closet: Food, clothing, and hygiene product distribution to families and individuals in need. - POWER Pathways: Community outreach and support for unhoused populations, providing essential resources and services where they are needed most. At P.O.W.E.R. Atlanta, we serve over 250 residents weekly, connecting individuals with the resources, education, and support they need to thrive. Together with our community partners, we are building stronger, more resilient communities by tackling the root causes of poverty and empowering individuals to achieve personal and economic success.
