PowerTransitions partners to either acquire or jointly redevelop retiring or retired legacy power and industrial facilities in the U.S. market, and remediate and repurpose the legacy facilities with the development of energy storage and renewable power. We are a portfolio company of EnCap Investment’s Energy Transition Fund, a private equity advisory firm with $40 billion in LP capital commitments. PowerTransitions is unique in that we can provide a fully integrated solution, from transfer of environmental liabilities to our company (and off of the seller's balance sheet) to deconstruction of the site, to fulfilling its ultimate end use, including renewable/BESS projects. All along we have a singular focus on benefiting the local community that was served by the legacy facility.
